Go Able is a community-powered accessibility map for Aotearoa New Zealand. It helps people find and share how accessible places really are — with venue features, star ratings, photos, reviews, and comments based on lived experience.

Go Able is built for Aotearoa New Zealand. The map, community reviews, and trip planner focus on helping disabled New Zealanders and their whānau navigate local communities with confidence.

Each place can be rated across mobility-related dimensions such as entrance access, parking, pathways, restrooms, staff support, and arrival options. Ratings use a 0–5 scale, and the map uses green, amber, and red markers so you can see accessibility at a glance. Ratings come from community reviews, not automated guesses.

Go Able was founded by Daisy Hoe, a wheelchair user from New Zealand who built the app from lived experience. You can read more about Daisy and the mission on the About page.

No. You can browse the map, read reviews, plan trips, and upload photos without signing in. Signing in with Google lets you add locations, post reviews, and contribute more actively to the community map.

Open the map and use Add location to place a new venue. You can drop a pin, fill in the address and accessibility features, and optionally add photos. New submissions may be reviewed before they appear publicly.
